Originally from Waynetown, Indiana, Kayla graduated from Marian University in Indianapolis in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Spending her college years heavily involved on campus and with multiple internship experiences, she hoped to move out of her tiny hometown and work in the nonprofit sector with a team that was truly making a difference for others. Soon after graduation, she joined Big Buzz Idea Group as a Nonprofit Account Coordinator.
Being a lifelong Cubs fan, finding her dream job in Chicago was just an added bonus. As a new resident to Chicago, when she is not working, Kayla can be found attending concerts, exploring new neighborhoods, and trying new coffee shops.
